BSUM launches Haihtuva, a due diligence data room that reads files without uploading them

Biotech Start-Up Management Oy (BSUM) launched Haihtuva on 9 October 2026. Haihtuva is an AI-native due-diligence data room for investments, licensing and M&A that reads the seller's files without uploading them.

For sellers, documents stay in their own Google Drive, OneDrive/SharePoint or Dropbox. The room reads them on demand, read-only, and the seller decides per folder whether a buyer's AI, named reviewers, or both may read each file. A readiness check shows the data room the way a buyer will see it, before buyers arrive.

For buyers, each investor or acquirer chooses the AI model that reviews the documents, works in a private review space that other bidders never see, and gets findings that cite the document and page.

Every room runs on its own Microsoft Azure confidential virtual machine in the EU. Documents are processed in encrypted memory only, and when the room closes its data and keys are deleted and both sides receive a signed deletion receipt. BSUM has filed patent applications covering this processing approach.
